Built-to-Order

WJ’s industrial keyboards are built-to-order, and can be expedited or customized according to special requests. Once built, they are put through a rigorous series of quality control tests, receiving hand-tested approval at three separate stations before shipment.

Rugged Keyboards

WJ’s keyboards are rugged and built specifically to use in harsh and unforgiving environments. These products are waterproof and are resistant to dirt and debris. All of WJ’s keyboards can be washed down without being unplugged, eliminating downtime needed for cleaning. The products range from backlit, stainless steel, low to zero emission keyboards for hazardous areas to fully submersible products used in hospitals.

Desktop Keyboards

Designed for excellent performance in harsh environments, WJ’s line of desktop keyboards is NEMA-rated and expertly engineered. This extensive line of rugged keyboards includes many case options including stainless steel, conductive plastic, polycarbonate and Epoxy. Available in a variety of key layouts featuring backlit, 10-key number pads and a number of pointing device options WJ’s desktop keyboards can easily accommodate specific environmental needs. These fully sealed keyboards are ideal for use in extreme temperatures, and wet or dusty locations. Some are specially designed to have low emissions, making them safe in hazardous locations.

Panel Mount Keyboards

WJ understands that stability and easy integration are key concerns in industrial computing. WJ’s panel mount line performs flawlessly in harsh environments. Framed in mounting studs, WJ’s panel mount keyboards maintain waterproof functionality and WJ’s high NEMA-ratings when properly installed. These products can be washed down with out being unplugged, eliminating downtime needed for cleaning. WJ’s panel mount products feature many options including fully sealed keypads and pointing devices, backlit models, small footprint and low emissions models that are all backed by WJ’s track record of high quality products.

Rack Drawer

Used in industrial rackmount computer systems, where there may be some exposure to dripping water, dirt and dust, WJ’s rackdrawer products are built for rugged applications that have a need for a locking rackdrawer to secure the keyboard while in motion. Rackdrawers from WJ have a CRS steel construction, coated with black epoxy paint, and chrome-plated, ball-bearing slides. WJ’s rackdrawers come with a T-handle or locking T-handle option, and are built to withstand harsh treatment.

Backlit

WJ’s rugged line of backlit keyboards feature: almost any color LED and NVIS Green B for night vision compatibility. These NEMA rated keyboards are manufactured to WJ’s high-quality standards. This extensive line of products includes many case options, including: small-footprint, mobile, stainless steel, and rugged polycarbonate. Available with a variety of useful, space-saving features, including 10-key number pads, low-profile keys for easy cleaning, optional mounting holes, and integrated pointing devices. In addition, WJ can tailor a unit to have multiple levels of backlighting, along with an emergency “blackout” key.
